UK investment platform Fidelity FundsNetwork has released its figures announcing the platform's best-selling funds and sectors for the year up to August.
The company found that the best selling fund was the New Star Property Unit Trust, followed by the Norwich Property Trust and the JPM Natural Resources Fund.
At the top of the list for investment sectors was the specialist sector, followed by UK equity income and UK all companies.
Rob Fisher, head of marketing and propositions at FundsNetwork, commented that the sector list was varied, showing that advisers were taking a diverse approach to investment.
He added that "Our data confirms the recent Investment Management Association market statistics regarding fund selection themes; their report also revealed that fund supermarkets are the distribution channel of choice for the ISA investor.
"Our own experience reflects this - one in four advised investors in the UK now choose FundsNetwork for their ISA."
