An awards ceremony held this week honoured the best pension schemes across the UK.
The event, which was held at the Park Lane Hilton Hotel in London, was attended by more than 1,200 pensions professionals across Britain.
The Jones Lang LaSalle pension, which is provided by Standard Life, took the gong for DC pension scheme of the year.
Gary Morrison, customer service director of corporate pensions at Standard Life, asserted that the prize was a "fantastic result"
He said: "The development of our corporate pensions proposition has been driven by the need to encourage employee participation in saving for retirement, so to be involved in winning this award is recognition that we are delivering."
In related news, Scottish Widows asserted this week that people who are currently working full-time now should start saving for their retirement so they do not have to use their pensions to pay off their debts.
